Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Level, available at https://levelbot.xyz. In these Terms, “Level”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Level service.
These Terms govern your access to and use of Level’s verification system, including Discord account login, Roblox account linking and related account features.
By using Level, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Level.
1. About Level
Level is a Discord and Roblox verification service. Level allows users to connect a Discord account with a Roblox account so communities can confirm account ownership and identify linked users.
Level’s verification system may include:
- Discord login through OAuth
- Roblox login through OAuth
- Account linking between Discord and Roblox
- Verification status checks
- Verification links sent through the Level Discord bot
- Session cookies used to keep users signed in
- Basic account pages showing linked account information
2. Operator
Level is operated by an individual sole proprietor (Einzelunternehmer) based in Germany.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Level.
If you are under 18, or under the age of majority in your country, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has allowed you to use Level and has reviewed these Terms with you.
You may not use Level if you are banned from using Discord, Roblox, or any platform required for the verification system.
4. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Level, signing in with Discord, linking a Roblox account, using a verification link, or interacting with the Level bot, you agree to these Terms.
Your use of Level counts as electronic acceptance of this agreement.
5. Verification System
Level allows you to verify your identity by connecting your Discord account and Roblox account.
To complete verification, you may be required to:
- Sign in with Discord
- Authorize Discord OAuth requested by Level
- Sign in with Roblox
- Authorize Roblox OAuth requested by Level
- Allow Level to store the connection between your Discord account and Roblox account
Level may use this linked account information to confirm that a Discord user controls a specific Roblox account.
You are responsible for making sure the accounts you link are your own. You must not link, attempt to link, or claim ownership of an account that does not belong to you.
6. Discord Integration
Level uses Discord OAuth and Discord bot features to support verification. When you sign in with Discord, Level receives information such as:
- Your Discord user ID
- Your Discord username
- Your Discord avatar
- Basic information needed to identify your Discord account
- Information allowed by the OAuth permissions you approve
7. Roblox Integration
Level uses Roblox OAuth to link Roblox accounts.
When you sign in with Roblox, Level may receive information such as:
- Your Roblox user ID
- Your Roblox username
- Basic profile information allowed by the OAuth permissions you approve
Level uses this information to connect your Roblox identity with your Discord identity.
8. Account Linking and Unlinking
By linking your Discord and Roblox accounts, you authorize Level to store that connection.
You may request unlinking or deletion of your linked account data by contacting us through our Discord Server. (put link to discord support server)
Unlinking your account may remove or disable your verified status in communities that rely on Level verification.
9. Sessions and Cookies
Level uses essential cookies or similar session technology to keep you signed in, protect your session, and operate the verification system securely.
Session cookies are used only to:
- Identify your active login session
- Maintain your signed-in state
- Prevent unauthorized access
- Protect against forged or invalid requests
- Support basic security and authentication functions
We do not use these session cookies to track you across other websites, build advertising profiles, or collect analytics for marketing purposes. These cookies are strictly necessary for Level to function properly and cannot be disabled without preventing parts of the service from working.
You must not attempt to tamper with, forge, steal, reuse, or bypass Level session cookies or authentication systems.
10. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your Discord and Roblox accounts secure.
You agree not to:
- Share login access with another person
- Use another person’s Discord or Roblox account
- Attempt to verify as someone else
- Sell, transfer, or trade verified account status
- Bypass or manipulate the verification process
- Use stolen, compromised, or unauthorized accounts
If your Discord or Roblox account is compromised, you should secure it immediately and contact Level support if your Level account may be compromised.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Level to:
- Impersonate another person
- Link accounts that you do not own
- Submit false or misleading information
- Bypass verification restrictions
- Abuse, spam, overload, or attack the verification system
- Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt Level
- Access Level APIs or routes in an unauthorized way
- Forge OAuth responses, session cookies, requests, or redirects
- Interfere with another user’s ability to verify
- Use Level for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity
Any attempt to exploit the verification system may result in account restriction.
12. Automated Access
You may not use automated tools, bots, scrapers, request spam, or scripted verification flows unless Level gives you explicit written permission.
This restriction exists because automated verification abuse can damage the reliability of the system and harm legitimate users.
13. Verification Accuracy
Level tries to provide accurate verification results, but we do not guarantee that verification will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Verification may fail or become unavailable because of:
- Discord API changes
- Roblox API changes
- OAuth errors
- User account changes
- Expired sessions
- Service downtime
- Hosting or database issues
- Security restrictions
- Temporary rate limits
Level is not responsible for consequences caused by unavailable, delayed, incorrect, or failed verification.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Level depends on Discord and Roblox services.
You understand that:
- Level does not control Discord or Roblox
- Discord or Roblox may change, restrict, or remove API access
- Your Discord or Roblox account may be suspended, deleted, renamed, or restricted by those platforms
- Level is not responsible for actions taken by Discord, Roblox, or third-party communities
Your use of Discord and Roblox remains subject to their own terms, rules, and policies.
15. Data and Privacy
Level collects and processes information needed to operate the verification system.
This may include:
- Discord account identifiers
- Roblox account identifiers
- Usernames
- Avatar or profile image URLs
- OAuth-related login information
- Session information
- IP addresses or request metadata for security and abuse prevention
- Verification status
- Timestamps related to login or verification activity
Level uses this data to:
- Provide account verification
- Maintain linked account records
- Keep users signed in
- Prevent abuse and fraud
- Debug technical problems
- Protect the service from unauthorized access
16. Data Access by Staff
Authorized Level staff may access user data when necessary for:
- Support requests
- Security investigations
- Abuse prevention
- Debugging verification problems
- Legal compliance
- Service maintenance
Staff must not access user data for personal reasons or misuse account information.
17. Account and Verification Removal
Level may suspend, restrict, unlink, or remove verification status at any time if we believe that:
- You violated these Terms
- You linked an account you do not own
- Your account is compromised
- You abused the verification system
- You attempted to bypass security
- Your verification creates a security, trust, fraud, or abuse risk
- We are required to do so by law or platform policy
We may take action with or without notice depending on the severity of the issue.
We are not required to provide evidence, disclose internal investigation details, or show proof of the reason for any suspension, restriction, unlinking, or removal.
18. Service Availability
Level is provided on a best-effort basis.
We do not guarantee that Level will always be available, secure, fast, or error-free.
The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, hosting issues, API outages, database errors, security incidents, platform changes, or other circumstances outside our control.
19. Security
You may not attempt to test, bypass, damage, or exploit Level’s security systems without explicit written permission.
Prohibited security abuse includes:
- Forging requests
- Tampering with OAuth states
- Bypassing authentication checks
- Stealing session cookies
- Attempting unauthorized database access
- Attacking Level infrastructure
- Flooding endpoints
- Trying to access another user’s account data
20. Intellectual Property
Level’s name, branding, code, design, interface, and verification system are owned by Level or its operator unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or misuse Level’s branding, code, or service materials without permission.
21. User Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of Level and for any actions taken through your linked Discord or Roblox accounts.
If you use Level to mislead others, impersonate another user, bypass community rules, or abuse a verification process, you are responsible for the consequences.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
Level is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties that:
- Level will meet your expectations
- Verification will always work
- Linked account data will always be accurate
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Bugs or security issues will always be fixed immediately
- Third-party APIs will remain available
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Level disclaims all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
23. Limitation of Liability
Level is currently provided free of charge.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Level and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of access to a Discord server
- Loss of community rank, role, or permissions
- Incorrect verification status
- Failed verification
- Account linking mistakes
- Service downtime
- Loss of data
- Discord, Roblox, or other platform API changes
- Security issues caused by your own account compromise
- Decisions made by Discord servers, Roblox communities, or third parties based on Level verification results
Because Level is provided free of charge, Level’s total liability for any claim is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
24. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Level and its operator from claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of Level
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of another person’s rights
- Your unauthorized linking of accounts
- Your abuse of Discord, Roblox, or Level systems
- Your illegal or harmful conduct
25. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Level at any time if you violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.
You may stop using Level at any time.
Termination may result in removal of your linked account data, verification status, or access to verification features.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide notice through the website and Discord Server. Your continued use of Level after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Level.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
By using Level, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
